It’s not every day that you get invited abroad to photograph an old friend’s wedding so naturally I said yes and months later, I was flying out to Amsterdam. Having never been or known anything about the location, I had to think on my feet a lot about the best places to photograph the couple and their guests as well as navigating the language barrier.
All this being said, it was such an exhilarating experience and an opportunity I hope comes round again.
